My Mileage Pro - Mileage Log & Expense Tracker App Reviews

My Mileage

I had great hopes that this app would do the job I needed done. Unfortunately, it is not intuitive and is complex to use.... After days of trying, I cannot get it to do what I want. The architecture is a series of menus and tons of sub-menus and you never know where you need to go next to set up your trip And once your trip completed, you cant find your results, let alone generate a report! Yet again, I wasted my money on something that had great potential, but was poorly designed.

Not bad

App is a little bit complicated to enter mileage, but with some practice its not bad. Backups and data exports work well.

My mileage pro

Works well and meets all of my basic needs

Great Business Tool

Extremely useful App. User friendly. Multiple export methods. Highly recommend.

Almost all I need

Works fairly well for entering mileage/trips. Should have separate entry spot for fuelling cost entry with mileage, separate from trip entry. Not working well for me exporting to excel. Needs to Export into proper field arrangement so view and sorting easier.

Dont buy

Im sorry that I paid anything for this app. Clumsy. Not user friendly. Poor navigation between screens. Poorly defined buttons. Waste of money thus far. Im going to try again, but Im not happy.

Good, but could be better

My biggest issues are, 1: placing the destinations either 1/2 to a whole block before or after the actual address entered. 2: GPS often requires multiple retries in order to pin down the address of my current location. This can take several minutes to get the often semi correct address. I must frequently edit the address in order to accurately log my mileage. I drive professionally and this is a real pain in the rear.

Gps?

Actually not. No gps function whatsoever despite the way they advertise it. Lost my money to this sham

Ok app

Its an ok app. It is a little cumbersome to use. Having trouble getting gps tracking to work consistently. Gps seems to work the first time you make a trip but when I try to use it with a template it does not work. Its worth 99 cents.

Almost there

I am looking for an app. To track auto expenses pertaining to my sales job. This app get me the closest of all Ive tried so far. All it needs for me is a way to adjust the dashboard as I dont really need the graph and would like to see the calendar instead and I would like to track fuel economy and auto maintenance in 1 app.

Cool app user friendly

I never live reviews and decided to live one today. I was looking for a user friendly easy app to record my business miles for my tax write off i try about 13 different apps and this one is hands down the best one it let you put down manually miles even from the past thats what i was looking for not only by driving as i forgot to turn app on on previous apps. So that is very helpful. Easy layout quick and easy to put your record in address is memorized ones you put it in once the only one thing i would improve is automatic miles calculation from origin address to destination as i was putting those in i used google maps to help me calculate total mile amount other then that perfect app that is the only one reason i would give a 4 out of 5 star Also i upgraded to full version for 1.99 so i can send my rapports via email. I hope my review will help

I thought it would help

Based on the reviews, I downloaded the app and was able to input my data. The pie chart really isnt necessary and I didnt find a way to disable that feature. Also, there is a section to enter notes about the trip, but it doesnt print the note in the form. The address origination and destination are not fully readable either, another negative. There isnt a way to reduce the size of the form on the paper either and so, my one trip spilled over into 2 pages. Im not happy with my purchase, even for $1.99. If these things could be corrected, or even have some PDF guideline available to help, that would be nice. 2 stars was generous too.

GPS Doesnt Work

After several attempts, GPS tracking is terrible, and will arbitrarily drop the trip and delete the mileage. Worthless, I would not buy this app again, does not work as advertised.

Too many options

This is too complicated to use with multiple vehicles. I just want to choose a default vehicle enter a start and end mileage and a purpose.

Waste of money

The gps was inaccurate and would end up costing me money at the end of the day!

Few problems

There are a couple issues that you do not see until you purchase the full version. First and foremost, when exporting the system does not display your notes completely. In fact, you only get about 8 characters before it truncates, thats as a PDFS. As an HTML export it only displays note without the ability to expand the note and it doesnt display the pie chart. I havent tried to export as a csv file yet. One thing that also happens in both the free and the paid versions is when changing between the expenses and distance, it leaves a $ when viewing distance, this too needs to be addressed. However, there is no $ when exporting which makes the bug manageable when sending to the office. The biggest issue is how it handles notes, and how it wraps destination and origin in the exports. It needs to wrap the destination at a space unless there is no space and not in the middle of a word. Overall it really is a great app, but these can be major issues when working for the state or other government organizations.

Pretty Good

This program works pretty well for me. I wish there were a manual input for selecting the date instead of the wheels. This app worked brilliantly for my courier business last year. I was able to easily export as a csv and have all of my mileage info for my accountant at tax time.

Not worth the $2.00 I spent on it !

Would not track the trips automatically !

How to drive your CPA crazy

Love the functionality of the program. Would love to give it a great rating but I cant. Hate the formatted CSV file. It has more than one type of data per column. If you only want to select specific columns for export, that option is also not available. If you really need a proper CSV database export, you may want to steer clear until the developer fixes the export column problems! This is supposed to save me time, not make me do MORE work trying to rearrange the database into useable, individual fields! The CSV export currently features 8 export columns for 13 pieces of information. Start Date and Start Odometer share a column. End Date and End Odometer share a column. Business Name and Distance share a column. Business Purpose and Miles share a column. Origin and Expenses share column. The only fields that have their own columns are Destination, Type and Note. The Note field ONLY displays the word "Note" with no other information. Sadly, this export problem renders a beautiful program totally useless for me.

Great App

Easy to use!
